Instead of Worrying about His Golf Game, The President Should Worry about Our Gulf Coast

In advance of tomorrow's Joint Session of Congress, Congressman Jeff Landry (R, LA-03) issued the following statement:

"While the President spent August listening to caddies, I spent the month listening to job creators. As a former small business owner in the oil and gas industry, I know that regulations, taxes, and bureaucratic red-tape are preventing jobs from being created in America. Unfortunately, the only job the President has supported is that of golf pros. He simply does not understand that government needs to get out of way so America can get back on a path to prosperity. We must remove economic uncertainty with a balanced budget amendment and, most importantly, we must allow the hard-working men and women of the Gulf Coast to explore and produce domestic energy."
