U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire (PA-04) today issued the following statement on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.

Congressman Altmire said:

"Today, all Americans remember those citizens who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and the soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our home. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families. We are also thinking of those who are awaiting the return of their loved ones serving this nation. We stand ready to support our soldiers in any way we can when they return home. As Americans, we will never forget how our world changed a decade ago and our strong commitment to bringing to justice those who would harm this country."
