Governor John Lynch has asked that flags be lowered to half-staff on Sunday, September 11, 2011, in remembrance of the September 11th attacks. Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the attacks.
"September 11th was a day we must and will always remember. On this 10th anniversary of 9/11, let us recommit ourselves to being there for our firefighters, police officers and all first responders. Let us recommit ourselves to being there for the families of the victims. And let us recommit ourselves to being there for each other, preserving all that is so special about our state and our nation," Governor Lynch said.
