Gov. Nixon Issues Statement on 10th Anniversary of 9/11

Statement

Gov. Jay Nixon today issued the following statement on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks:

"Today, we remember and honor not only those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, but also all who have protected us since that day - especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free. Freedom has a price. As a country, we are blessed to have men and women in our military who, along with their families, pay that price every day. We are a safer and better nation because of these heroes among us."
