Boozman Remarks on Presidential Address to Congress

Statement

U.S. Senator John Boozman issued the following statement in response to President Barack Obama's address to Congress tonight.

"Creating a job friendly environment is my number one priority and I am happy to hear that President Obama intends to move this to the top of his agenda. I agree passage of legislation to increase our exports, reduce burdensome regulations and change our confusing tax system are all good places to start. However, it takes more than just a speech to put us on the right path to providing businesses the tools they need to create jobs, it takes appropriate action. I am anxious to work with my colleagues to put plans in place that allow our job creators to provide hardworking Americans employment opportunities they need--real jobs, not government jobs."
