"Requiring our ranchers and farmers to get commercial drivers' licenses would have been ridiculous. I recently met with the Transportation Secretary to express my concerns and I'm very thankful he listened and responded. Having grown up on a ranch, I knew we'd have to stop this idea before it got any more traction. I'm glad we can put this issue to rest so we can remain focused on supporting our hard-working rural families."
