Pearce: Time for the Senate to Act on FAA

Statement

Today, Rep. Pearce called on the Senate to put 4,000 furloughed FAA employees and thousands of laid-off construction workers back to work by acting on the bipartisan House-passed FAA extension.

"It is simply unacceptable that the Senate is playing politics with thousands of American jobs. The Reid Senate continues to childishly demand outrageous subsidies and political pork, while construction projects are halted and Americans are left without work. The House has already passed a bipartisan bill on which the Senate still refuses to even schedule a vote. I call on Majority Leader Reid to do his job and take action."
