Montana's Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today announced the addition of Angelo Bianco, as Veterans' Outreach Director, to his congressional staff. Bianco is a retired Air Force veteran who has been serving veterans and veteran organizations since 1996.
"Angelo has dedicated his life to serving his country and the men and women who have shared his sacrifice," said Rehberg. "His knowledge of and devotion to veterans' issues will be a great asset to the people of Montana. He'll help reinforce the high level of commitment my office has to helping veterans get the care and benefits they rightly deserve."
Bianco, who earned the rank of Master Sergeant as an Air Force Flight Engineer, retired from the military in 1994. He is a line of duty, combat-injured veteran who has been actively involved with the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Jolly Green Association (Combat Rescue), American Legion, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and Gulf War Veterans, in addition to holding leadership roles in many organizations at the local, state, and national level. He has also been a leading figure in the establishment of the Montana Purple Heart Memorial, in Billings, and the Yellowstone County Veterans Cemetery, in Laurel. Bianco will be based in Rehberg's Billings Congressional District Office.
"I am humbled and honored to have this opportunity to help Denny serve the Montana veterans we both deeply care about," said Bianco. "Montana is a great place to live and raise a family and it naturally attracts a lot of military veterans. I know Denny works tirelessly on behalf of his constituents and I'm excited to be here and following suit."
