Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-20) issued the following statement today on the loss of American forces in Afghanistan:
"We lost brave American soldiers today as they fought in Afghanistan. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones, and with all the men and women who serve in the armed forces. We are reminded of the freedom they fight to preserve and protect, and must honor them with our gratitude for their selfless and heroic actions."
