Issue Position

Minnesota continues to be a national leader in education. When I was a kid growing up in St. Louis Park, we had a world-class public education system. Unfortunately, many kids today aren't receiving the same high-quality education that I received. We owe it to them to fully fund our schools and make sure that every child in Minnesota and across the country has access to an affordable, high-quality education from early childhood through college. I'm proud to sit on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee where I get the opportunity to help shape our nation's education policy.
