Blackburn Pushes for Passage of Cut, Cap, and Balance Legislation

Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) today issued the following statement urging her colleagues in the House of Representatives to support and pass H.R. 2560, the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act, which will be considered on the floor Tuesday. President Obama has threatened to veto the legislation.

"It is not about the President and not about calling his bluff. It is about honoring our oath of office, our constituents and future generations who are trusting we will address the out-of-control federal spending, and put this nation on the path to fiscal security," Blackburn said.
