Pryor to Discuss Economic Development, Honor Civil Rights Leaders at State Events

Senator Mark Pryor today announced that he is heading home to Arkansas to participate in several events this week, including a ceremony to honor civil rights leaders.

On Friday, July 8th at 12:00 p.m. CT, Pryor will speak at the Arkansas Association of Insurance Companies Luncheon. The event will take place at the Capital Hotel, 111 West Markham Street in Little Rock, AR.

At 2:30 p.m. CT, Pryor will speak at the Bella Vista Bypass Groundbreaking Ceremony and will be given a tour of the Bella Vista Bypass construction site. The event will take place at the 13200 block of Arkansas Highway 72 in Hiwasse, AR.

On Sunday, July 10th at 2:00 p.m. CT, Pryor will speak at the Freedom Riders 50th Anniversary Event. The event will include a commemorative plaque presentation, a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Arkansas Civil Rights Heritage Trail, and a performance by a Little Rock gospel choir. The anniversary events will take place on the grounds of the Old State House Museum in Little Rock, AR.
