Reacting to the nomination of John Bryson as the new Commerce Secretary, Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade issued the following statement today:
"With unemployment in America stuck at a stubborn 9%, Secretary-designate Bryson will have to hit the ground running. There is no time for a learning curve. One of the best ways to increase U.S. competitiveness and create new jobs is to encourage and reward innovation. I look forward to working with the incoming Secretary to develop policies which will improve the U.S. economy, create prosperity and make 'Made in America' matter again."
