Need to Know - Abolish Abortion

Dear Friend,

The U.S. House of Representatives today passed H.R. 3, the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act." I am a co-sponsor of this legislation, which would codify prohibitions of federal funding for abortion services that are currently renewed on an annual basis, known as the Hyde Amendment. The proposal would also prohibit federal subsidies for insurance coverage currently allowed by the "Affordable Care Act."

I voted in support of this bill because I believe that life begins at conception and that the unborn must be protected. I find it wholly unacceptable for any attempts to reform America's health care system to subsidize abortion procedures at the expense of pro-life taxpayers.
