U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) and more than 70 of her House colleagues signed onto an amicus curiae brief in support of the lawsuit brought by Wyoming and 25 other states which challenges the constitutionality of ObamaCare in the 11th Circuit Court.
Lummis released the following statement:
"I stand with Wyoming and more than half of the nation's states in their efforts to overturn this fundamentally flawed health care law. ObamaCare imposes devastating regulations on our small businesses, busts the budget and puts Washington in charge of personal health care decisions. The American people recognize the damage this law inflicts on their personal freedoms.
"The Obama Administration has granted more than 1,000 ObamaCare waivers to companies, unions and other groups. The American people want a permanent waiver.
"I will continue to fight until ObamaCare is repealed and replaced with common-sense reforms that make quality health care accessible and affordable for every person in Wyoming and for all Americans."
