McKinley Votes to Preserve Life and Stop Taxpayer Funded Abortions

Rep. David B. McKinley, P.E. (R-WV) once again voted to protect the life of the unborn and preserve their rights Wednesday.H.R. 3, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, would permanently prohibit taxpayer funding for abortions across all federal programs. McKinley, long committed to the right to life, issued the following statement:

"As an original co-sponsor of this legislation, I am delighted the House approved it with bipartisan support; now we just need the Senate to respect the rights of the unborn and the wishes of taxpayers by promptly passing the bill. Disrespecting innocent human life and trampling on the rights of taxpayers, who strongly oppose using their hard-earned dollars to finance abortion, is unacceptable. H.R. 3 will permanently ensure federal funds are never used to harm the life of the unborn. I am proud to see the passage of this legislation to defend the unborn, and promise I will never waver from my pro-life convictions."
