No Taxpayer Funding on Abortion Act

Statement

U.S.Congressman Sean Duffy (WI-07), a Member of the House Financial Services Committee and the Joint Economic Committee, issued the following statement after voting for H.R. 3 -- No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act:

"As pro-life parents, my wife Rachel and I have lived through an unplanned pregnancy that brought us unplanned joy. Children are our nation's greatest resource and treasure. Regardless of a person's opinion on abortion, I believe it is simply wrong to use taxpayer dollars to fund abortions. I'm proud to be a co-sponsor of this bill that will ensure that our tax dollars do not subsidize -- in any way -- the destruction of human life through abortion."
