Congressman Jim Matheson released the following statement:

"Bin Laden is the face of horrific acts around the world and the world is a better place with him gone."

"I commend our men and women in uniform and in the intelligence community--especially our Utah soldiers who have served--for their bravery and their sacrifice.
We must remain vigilant as a country in the face of possible retribution from terrorists."

"Ultimately the cause of peace and justice is America's cause and what we must pursue, as so many in countries throughout the world show an outpouring of desire for freedom."
