Today, following news that President Barack Obama will withhold post-mortem photos of Osama Bin Laden, Rep. Anthony D. Weiner (D -- Queens and Brooklyn) released the following statement:
"The President did the right thing -- Osama bin Laden is dead. Period. We shouldn't release photos of his body just to satisfy the morbid curiosity of conspiracy theorists."
"With Public Enemy #1 finally gone, we should instead focus on coming together as a country. That is why today I look forward to joining the President, heroic first responders and their friends and families as we honor those who lost their lives on September 11th."
