Governor Mourns the Loss of JBER Soldier

Governor Sean Parnell offered his condolences to the family and friends of Major David L. Brodeur, who died April 27 along with seven other American service members and a contractor while attending a meeting at Kabul International Airport.

"Sandy and I were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Major Brodeur," Governor Parnell said. "We will be forever grateful for his selfless service to our country. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends and fellow service members mourning this loss."

Brodeur, 34, was serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and was assigned to the 11th Air Force, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
