Representative Jeff Denham today issued the following statement on Tax Day.
"Today is Tax Day and as frustrated California families, small businesses and employers send their money to Washington, they're calling for Congress to reform the tax code in order to encourage economic growth and decrease our debt. The House Republican budget plan makes our tax code simpler, flatter, fairer and less burdensome for American families and small businesses. Our plan delivers common sense tax reforms necessary to restore certainty and confidence among California's employers who create jobs and drive the economy." -- Rep. Jeff Denham
