Pompeo Praises House Passage of Republican "Path to Prosperity'

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed their budget plan, also referred to as "The Path to Prosperity' (H. Con. Res. 34) on a vote of 235-193. Congressman Mike Pompeo (KS-04) released the following statement after passage:

"Today, the House of Representatives passed a budget that truly addresses our long term financial health. The plan strengthens our entitlement programs, unburdens businesses and lets families keep more of the money that they worked so hard to get. It recognizes the simple notion that the country cannot spend more money than it has. This responsible Republican plan acknowledges that our nation must stop spending away our children's prosperity, and I was proud to support its passage today," declared Rep. Pompeo.
