Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) issued the following statement following the announcement of an agreement to keep the government open and pass a funding measure for the remainder of the fiscal year.
"Considering the GOP only controls 1/3 of the process, the House, this is a very tangible step in the right direction," said Rohrabacher. "This battle over moderate cuts in the level of deficit spending seems to be a prelude to what is going to be a raucous session. But real progress never comes easy.
"This step proves we are willing to fight it out to restore fiscal sanity."
