.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) today released the following statement regarding the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement:
"I am very encouraged that the Administration and the Government of Colombia have reached agreement on a path forward for the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement. This should enable Congress to vote soon on all three of our pending trade agreements -- with Colombia, Panama and Korea. I am confident that Congress will pass all of them with strong bipartisan support. These agreements will not just strengthen our economy and level the playing field for our workers; they will deepen our relationships with three critical strategic partners. The sooner Congress can pass all three of these trade agreements the better."
