U.S. Sen. David Vitter today reacted to President Obama's energy speech and provided a preview to his bicameral energy bill he will be introducing tomorrow with U.S Rep. Rob Bishop (R-UT).
"The president usually gives a great speech. The problem is that his actions often don't match his words," Vitter said. "Just look at the Gulf, where we still have a virtual shutdown. If the president is truly serious about domestic energy production, he'll support my 3-D bill being introduced with dozens of cosponsors tomorrow. It grows domestic jobs by opening up domestic energy while also producing real deficit reduction."
