In Congress, Rep. Rep. Lujan has held veteran's town halls where he has encouraged veteran's to contact his office if they need help getting benefits. Hundreds of veterans have attended his town halls throughout the district. Rep. Lujan has also made it easier for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans to sign up for the New GI Bill by holding sign ups at his district office. He also supported legislation to expand services for rural veterans and to help homeless veterans get housing services.
