Montana's Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today released the following statement in recognition of Veterans Day, 2010.
Montana's veterans and military retirees have played an vital role in building our country. Through their sacrifices, America has triumphed and remained a free and vibrant nation.
We can't thank our veterans enough for putting their lives on the line when America's security demanded it. Every unselfish, noble or patriotic effort by our veterans writes another chapter in the story of our nation, whose ordinary people are willing to make extraordinary sacrifices for freedom.
The United States must honor its commitment to all of the dedicated service men and women whose sacrifices helped preserve the freedom we enjoy today. As Montana's Congressman, I've made it a priority to advocate for the rights of veterans, and I'll continue to fight for improved educational and professional opportunities, better healthcare, and less bureaucracy.
