Tom Barrett Statement on Walker Plan to Repeal All Taxes on Corporations

Location: Unknown

As reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on October 25, 2010, Scott Walker plans to repeal all taxes on corporations in addition to the $1.8 billion he plans to cut for the wealthy and elite in Wisconsin:

"Scott Walker's massive tax giveaways to the wealthy and the elite will shift the tax burden to working and middle class families and explode the budget deficit. They will also decimate critical Wisconsin values like education and support for local police and firefighters while raising local property taxes. These are the wrong priorities for Wisconsin. Tax relief should go first to Wisconsin workers and families hit hardest in this recession, and as governor I will work with the private sector to create jobs and get our state's fiscal house in order by putting state government on a diet."
