Statement

Israel is a real issue for a lot of people. Israel isn't part of the U.S. but lot of people ask my view of Israel. Why should we treat it any different than Haiti? Some say Israel is our ally in the Middle East while others say Israel is the problem of the Middle East. Israel has a long history of conflict in the region. Well, at least as far back as 1948 when it was created. Yeah I know it is Biblical. And since we are a Cristian Nation we should respect Jerusalem. But the Muslims respect Jerusalem just as much. So why such a debate? Well let me tell you why. I hear a lot of Democrats tell me that we are only protecting Israel because of it's strategic position in the region of the world. I hear a lot of Republicans tell me that Israel is a strategic ally to create peace in the region. But wait, I'm confused. Most of the Jews I know are Democrat and want Israel supported but not militarily. But Israel is based on military conflict and the Jews have been fighting, well, forever.And. a lot of Republicans I know say freedom of religion and they profess to be Cristian but want the Jews protected.. but the Muslims are terrorists. Yeah you probably see the pattern now. Keep the people divided and let the party sort it out. The party will protect you from….the other party of course.
