True Job Creator Travels Across Arkansas Sharing Proven Plan

Mark Darr, conservative small business owner and Republican Nominee for Lieutenant Governor, will kick off his "Every Job Counts!" statewide tour this week with stops in all four Congressional Districts.

Throughout the "Every Job Counts!" tour Mark will offer his proven plan for job creation and show his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty by working hands-on at each stop.

"The difference between me and my opponent is I have actually created jobs while his votes have helped kill them." Darr stated refering to Senator Shane Broadway's votes to increase taxes by millions of dollars during his fourteen years in the legislature.

"Our state's tax burden is higher than the national average. If we want to bring jobs to Arkansas, we have to be business friendly. My experience creating jobs, building a business, meeting a payroll, and balancing a budget has taught me the solution is easy; cut taxes and reduce regulations on small businesses." Darr continued, "Under my opponent's watch in the legislature, the burden has steadily climbed and he continued to vote for more taxes. You can't offer a solution when you are the problem," Darr continued.

Mark's opponent, who touts his job creation experience, admitted earlier this week that many of those he refers too are announced jobs. Darr responded, "Announced jobs do not put food on the table or pay the housepayment. Senator Broadway can announce jobs all day long but that doesn't help the over one-hundred thousand Arkansans who are struggling to find work."

Darr has spent his life in the private sector and has created over 500 jobs throughout his career. Mark Darr opened his fourth business last month and currently employs over fifty people.
