"Vermonters are known for their innovative spirit and entrepreneurial nature. From the state's smallest general stores to its largest corporations, these businesses embody the Vermont values of hard work and integrity. My job in Congress is to help Vermont businesses succeed -- by providing access to federal resources and by supporting legislation that helps them thrive. As we move toward a cleaner, greener economy, I will continue to ensure that Vermonters can compete and excel in the 21st century economy."
