"During these challenging economic times, Nancy Pelosi's Cap-and-Tax bill will raise the average energy bill for hardworking American families between $1,500 and $3,000 annually and also put at risk hundreds of thousands of jobs each year. As a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, I have cosponsored legislation that would promote energy innovation and independence by focusing on the safe production of all of our domestic energy resources." - Phil Gingrey
