Why Is Olson Supporting Obama's Treasonous Policy in Afghanistan?

Statement

On April 7, one of my campaign workers asked Congressman Pete Olson if he would join with me in calling for backing an all-out effort, by the U.S. military, to attack and wipe out the opium traffickers in Afghanistan.

In an answer that surprised his supporters, Olson defended President Obama and his British Imperial policy, which refuses to act against the drug producers and dealers, whose proceeds from their illegal drug trafficking provides funds for the Taliban militants, who are shooting at, and killing, our soldiers and civilian personnel.

In the new book, by Bob Woodward, Obama's Wars, the author points out that President Obama repeatedly rejected the advice of Defense Secretary Gates, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many other top military officials, in his conduct of the war. One of the outstanding areas of disagreement was the insistence of military leaders that our military forces must be unleashed against the Afghan drug dealers. President Obama resisted this advice, and refused to move against the drug traffickers.

Again, I must ask: Why is Pete Olson, with his military background, backing Obama's insane and failed policy, against the advice of our top military leaders? Why will he not join my call for the immediate removal of President Obama from office, for his treasonous policy in Afghanistan, which protects drug traffickers in British-controlled Helmhand province, while leading to the deaths of our brave servicemen and women?

Pete, I am waiting to hear from you on this, and I believe your constituents would like to know why you are continuing to back the failed and dangerous policies of President Obama.
