Conservative small business owner and Republican Nominee for Lieutenant Governor Mark Darr would like to welcome Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder to Arkansas.

Kinder will appear with Mark Darr at a luncheon event in Mountain Home and an evening reception in Fayetteville on Monday October 4.

Peter Kinder was elected Missouri's 46th Lieutenant Governor on November 2, 2004, carrying 91 of Missouri's 114 counties.
He is best known for filing "Kinder v. Geithner" a legal challenge against the recently enacted federal health care law. His suit addresses the unfunded mandate placed on his state. Kinder stated, "With this lawsuit, we are fighting to protect the freedoms and pocketbooks of Missourians."

Mark Darr earlier this week announced at a press conference that as Lieutenant Governor he too would seek legal action against the health care law if Arkansas Governor and Attorney General refuse.

"As Lieutenant Governor I will stand with the nearly 70 percent of Arkansas citizens who oppose the national health-care system and fight its unfunded and unconstitutional mandates on our citizens," Darr said.
