Feingold Statement on the 9/11 Anniversary

Statement

"Today is a solemn anniversary, as Americans remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and mourn those who were lost on that day. We also remember the heroism of the first responders, and the tremendous resilience the American people showed in the wake of that terrible day. That strength united our nation and now, nine years later, we must focus our strength and determination on combating al Qaeda. That must be our top national security priority, and we must pursue it with a dedication and commitment worthy of the memory of those who perished nine years ago today."
