Statement

I am so deeply honored to have received the endorsement of the Sierra Club.

Throughout my years working to maintain air quality, keep toxic waste out of our water, and protect Long Island Sound, I have known that maintaining the environment is not optional, but critical to our future.

Receiving the Sierra Club endorsement based on my body of work as Attorney General is a recognition I truly appreciate.

But what really counts is that the people of Connecticut know that they can count on me not only to fight special interests that threaten our environment, but also to work with companies to create green energy jobs.
