I've spent the past 30 years on our family ranch. I have a deep appreciation for stewardship of the land. Over the decades, we've raised cattle, sheep, hay, and developed two different tourism businesses on our ranch. In a conservative yet innovative fashion, we've built those businesses bit by bit. I've signed on both sides of a paycheck and I understand many of the barriers that a small operation faces while building a business. I've had to make cuts when actual income does not meet projected expenses. I'll bring that conservative common sense experience to the State Legislature.
