Two of the most prominent leaders of the pro-life movement have publicly endorsed the candidacy of Republican Tim Scott for Congress in the First Congressional District.

Anne Badgley, founder of the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, and Cyndi Mosteller, former Chair of the Charleston County Republican Party, said Wednesday that they believe Tim Scott is the best choice to represent the rights of the unborn as a Congressman. "Tim Scott is an authentic supporter of the rights of the unborn and has been for many years. He is an individual of solid character," said Badgley.

"There are other candidates who may talk the talk to win votes in this area, but Tim Scott has a record of walking the walk," said Mosteller

Scott said he was pleased to have the support of Badgley and Mosteller. "Both Anne and Cyndi are true believers in the fundamental rights of all human beings as I am," Scott said. "As we continue our struggle to protect the unborn, I am honored to be aligned with other foot soldiers such as Anne Badgley and Cyndi Mosteller."

Scott's commitment to the Pro-Life cause has been a long one. He served on the founding board for the Palmetto Family Council, is a past-chairman of SC for Healthy Family Formation and has a 100% voting record supporting the rights of the unborn.
