Issue Position

Florida's students are competing in a global economy and therefore we need to provide an education that equips them to compete. I understand that by offering our students a world-class education, we are preparing them to be the future leaders of our state and nation. I also value the incredible gift that teachers are to Florida's students and the vital role they play in educating our next generation of leaders. As State Senator, I will fight to improve our public schools and work to give teachers raises, while continuing to give parents the right of school choice in order to make the best educational decisions for their children.
