Issue Position

Arizona faces a budget deficit of several hundred million dollars this year. But many politicians still to increase spending and borrow money or raise your taxes to pay for it. As a conservative, I find this inexcusable. Much like a family or business, we should balance our state budget by setting priorities and making tough choices. Raising your taxes or putting the state further into debt is not the solution. As your next State Senator, I will work to cut wasteful spending. I also will not vote for any state budget that wastes your tax dollars or spends them irresponsibly.
