Martha Roby, Republican nominee for Alabama's Second Congressional District, announced the dates, times, and locations for the last three events in her series of Town Hall meetings, including an additional meeting in Troy.
Since the beginning of August, Roby has hosted three well-attended town halls in Montgomery, Dothan, and Enterprise. Topics covered at the events ranged from concerns about veterans' benefits to illegal immigration.
"Voters throughout this district have decided to play an active role in reclaiming our country," Roby said. "I'm encouraged by the number of people who have attended these events and voiced their frustrations about Washington. I hear their message loud and clear: stop spending money we do not have, stop burdening small businesses and families with increased taxes and regulation, and stop growing government."
"I look forward to having the opportunity to hear from voters in Andalusia, Troy, and Prattville," said Roby. "It's vital that we restore transparency and accountability to Congress. That's why I want to take these opportunities to listen to the people of this district and express my vision for bringing conservative change to Washington."
At the town hall in Troy, Roby will be joined by Congressman Greg Walden (OR-2), who serves as Deputy Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
The town hall meetings are open to the public, and all are invited to attend, voice their concerns, and ask questions. Details for the remaining events are below:
