Many of the issues facing Senate District 33 are the same issues confronting Colorado, and the nation. The absolute priority for government at every level must be to address the economy, and Mike's immediate focus if selected to serve will be to help businesses create jobs in the 33rd Senate District and Colorado making investments in areas that will provide jobs and meet urgent needs like energy and transportation.

There are currently 800,000 Coloradans who have no health care, and many more who are underinsured or face short spells without insurance. It is the responsibility of the Colorado Senate to ensure Health Care is a right and not a privilege.
Colorado is positioned to be the green energy leader of the country. But as we convert to green energy we must make sure that these industries serve and employ the Denver communities that need them most.
Denver has become known as one of the worst traffic cities in America, in order to protect the environment and protect our quality of life we must continue to develop affordable, efficient, accessible public transportation that supports our commuter routes and work to keep the I-70 corridor safe and efficient.
