As Attorney General, I have fought to protect the environment and to increase energy efficiency standards. As Senator, I will continue to fight to make Connecticut a leader in clean energy technologies and the jobs they provide.
We can improve the environment and create jobs by
* Supporting extending home energy tax credits to Connecticut consumers who make their homes more energy efficient.
* Fighting to make American businesses in the clean energy sector more competitive internationally by providing greater opportunities and leveling the playing field for small businesses that export clean energy abroad.
* Working to make Washington develop a comprehensive energy policy that meets economic and environmental goals, promotes renewable energy sources, and moves America in the direction of energy independence.
