Issue Position

As a product of California's public schools and state university system, Assemblywoman Noreen Evans understands that quality education--available to residents across the economic spectrum--is a promise made by one generation of Californians to another. It is characteristic of the quality of life that helped California become known as the Golden State. She also understands that our most vulnerable youth--our foster children--are at constant risk of being left out of the equation when policymakers debate how best to prepare our young people for an increasingly competitive world.
