I believe the future of our State is directly connected to the quality of the environment our children are brought up in. With a partnership of teacher, student, and active parental involvement the quality of education for our children will increase. Accountability for all three is a must to achieve a high quality of education.

Further more the availability of high speed internet to students is vital, both in the school and at home. Students can access a world of books, documents, maps, video, and so much more if they have the internet connection to make it possible. Dial up is not the answer. With the ever rising cost of secondary education more and more classes are available on line. Students can interact with professors, see and hear questions other students are asking, and have handouts readily available on their PC. Colleges and Universities like Indiana, Purdue, IUPUI, Ivy Tech, Ball State and others offer a variety of classes on line. These classes cost much less and eliminate travel time and expense. We must make this internet connectivity available for business and homes alike.
