Issue Position

Our local economy is hurting. People are struggling to hold on to their homes and their jobs. Unfortunately, politicians in DC believe that raising taxes is all too often the only solution. We need to keep taxes low; Americans can do a better job managing their own money than the government.

Sandy's Solutions: The marriage penalty should be eliminated entirely and we need to stop penalizing small businesses that want to keep their business in the family by removing the death tax. I strongly support the fair tax and understand that we need a simpler tax code that every American can understand.
