Governor candidate Bill Brady today criticized Pat Quinn's administration for funding child care in the homes of registered sex offenders. A recent report from the state's Auditor General revealed the practice.
"Last week we learned that dozens of dangerous parolees were on the lam under a secret program under Governor Quinn," Brady said. "Today, independent auditors now show that the state has paid for day care in the homes of registered sex offenders. Once again, this Administration has failed to protect the safety of Illinois families. He has failed the people of Illinois, and the citizens are paying for it. Who will he blame this time?"
