Washington is not listening to the American people. The nation's unemployment rate is hovering around 10 percent, and higher in north Alabama. Democrats are unable to even produce a budget while Americans keep asking, "Where are the jobs?" However, the president and congressional Democrats are plotting to pass even more wasteful Washington spending this week, while at the same time are delaying much needed resources for our troops serving in harm's way.
This is not a way to run our country.
