Issue Position

In these tough economic times, it is critical that we continue to expand, recruit, and maintain all types of industries. So often, people get caught up in bringing industry to our area that will provide hundreds of jobs. While these are great opportunities and we must attempt to recruit these businesses, I believe we need to focus on our small businesses as well. We need to dedicate resources to enhancing and maintaining our small businesses. These are the jobs our community was founded upon and the direction we must move towards in order to grow.
