In the last two years, 25 legislators and staffers have been charged with corruption. That is 25 too many. Confidence in state government is at an all-time low. The General Assembly must conduct its business in the full light of day and expose its decision-making processes to the public. All state spending, including that of the legislature, should be available in an online searchable database. As your state representative, I will support all efforts to impose greater accountability and transparency on the General Assembly and the entire state government.
